I have £150 to spend on a graphics card, which is the best?

I have £150 to spend on a graphics card.
I currently have a TNT2 Ultra.
I want to upgrade but I don't want to spend any more than £150!

What is my best option ie.geforce ddr, vodoo??

get Geforce DDR or a Geforce 2 MX both are under £110 if you shop arround.

iam assuming you play more Q3 than UT so they are quite a bit quicker.

Yeah I'd go DDR GF1 or an MX but thats me 2nd option as they're SDRAM which means slower than a DDR GF1 @ 1024*768*32bit and over

Ge-Force2

In my oppinion, the Ge-Force 2 is the best for its money, I've never seen ANYTHING like it in my LIFE! I didnt get it because this PC has a fixed Nvidia Riva TNT2 64 but, I think the Ge-Force was better

Its amazing but true that the older GF DDR is faster than the GF2 MX. Get a GF DDR since they're damn fine cards and mine has served me well.

Yeah I currently have a GF as weell Emb, but the GF2 is probably slightly more future proof (I know nothing really is with PC Tech). Depends I suppose what you play. I really play mostly Q3 atm, and although the GF was great initially, I find since RA3 came out that it chugs a bit in the larger maps if a lot a players are around at once. I know you can turn details and so on down, but Im one of those people that likes to see the game in all its possible glory (ie the complete opposite of fat1lity ). So I would think the GF2 is the one to go for if he can get it around that price. If however he plays nothing but C**terstrike then go for an older card
