I've started to hate shared libraries with passion too. [for j00 winblows ppl think .dll and you're about there] Of all the hundreds in my system, one was a bit dodgy and was fscking with me. I assure you I took great pleasure in typing the three-and-a-half pages of code that is the unix delete command, and replacing the library with a [working] new one.
