I had a dream.

I had a dream about PlanetSide last night.

I was running around a base but couldnt find the CC and kept spawning at the same place. Then looking for the CC again.

This isnt a joke. I also couldnt shoot anything with my gun either.

Am i going mad ???.

Same thing used to happen when i played daoc too. Not nightmares, just really wierd fooken dreams.

I find any game that i play excessively finds it way into my dreams . Used to happen with DAoC for me all the time, i don't really play planetside enough for that to happen.

I should point out that i am married so don't need a GF. My missus played DAoC too and she used to have dreams about it on occasion aswell. We both had level 50's.

I had a dream that there were a load of people with their names in red over their head and I was trying to get my knife out but they all started to punch me before I could kill them.

I woke up sweating. Quite odd and it's my first "game" dream.

I once had a few dreams about daoc, but most of them ended up in hardcore porn, get the iddul stick hard sort of dream..

Came back home from the video store, when I spot two figures in the distance - what was my first unconcious reaction?

I was thinking "should zoom to identify them". *sighs*
Next thing would have been the sniper rifle, I guess.

Nasty Sicko sniperd me over a bridge, so in a hero attempt I ran along, diving between trees and bushes, using the landscape as I was nature itself. I then saw this glowing text "UncleSick"

I spamed my little button to harts content, eventualy he died to the shit pulser

I was in 8x zoom mode, hunting down "I am crouched - therefore you can't see me when I move" Infils. Then my health started dropping (Krypt also spammed me with /t - polite me tried to reply)... when I finally figured that I should hit "4" to get my Gauss rifle out, I was dead.

I'll get you again, Krypt. Don't worry.

And hey - I had crossed the bridge, was close to the VS egghead held tower... it's not like you had to sneak past three platoons of scatter MAX' with Darksight.

Oh and.. lol at sniping infils, its apparently "fixed" so you can't see them from zoom.. I can see them 24/7 with zoom, fun aint it.. even when they are walking

had a few daoc dreams, only one PS dream.
I was dreaming that every spitfire i placed started shooting all friendlies.

wierdest thing was when i logged into daoc after not playing for a few weeks.
I seemed to have logged my pally samewhere in FS.
I a mid was running at me so i tried to 'shoot' him ... took me a few secs to figure out why my pulsar didnt fire

New PS dream last night, sat in an office when 2 NC max walk in with their sheilds on so I pull out my Thumper and promptly start firing grenades about setting fire to all my workmates and killing them.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the 127 grief points my grenades got me last night in a furious tower attack / base defence. never been over 40 before last night.

I had a dream last night, still quite vivid, and you can clearly see the parrallels with PS.

A meteor is about to strike the Earth near where I used to live.
So for some odd reason a squad of men (and women) are assembled. They include people I know from work.
The mission....to destroy a corn sotrage facility nearby. (How this is supposed to help stop a meteor I have no idea).

So we hop in my plane and I fly them over the corn storage facility (It's a very tall tower) and they drop off on to it.

I land the plane a distance away. Time is ticking away before the meteor impact, and as the squad abseil down the tower planting explosives as they go, I realise they won't make it to the plane in time!
So I jump into a handy Hovercraft and speed off to pick them up.
(Now I have never driven a magrider as I play NC not VS).

With 5 minutes remaining we head back to the plane with the hope of escaping the meteors blast radius.........then the radiio wakes me up!

Gahhh! Now I'll never know if we make it out alive!

Heh... I had another PS dream the other night.

We have that big, tower shaped shopping center in the middle of the city (Nuremberg if anyone cares) - so in my dream I walk into that shopping center to find out, that all the escalators are barred and not working... there is a big fuss going on, people running around.

So next thing that happens is me standing in the elevator, the big mirror showing me in a MAX suit - finally the elevator reaches the roof just as a TR gal hot drops grunts.. then it got quite gory.

Can't remember more. Good action, though. *cackles*
