I got an E-mail today...

The E-mail states that after 5th May, all subscribers will be charged more money.

From : £6 / €9
To : £8 / €12

I have already had a conversation with another player about this...
He isn't going to stay for much longer unless he starts rolling in money...
I think it's quite safe to say, that this story is similar for quite a lot of other DAoC players.

Just makes me more sure about the fact that I'm gonna leave for another game once it gets released.

But maybe GOA once and for all will prove us all wrong and give us something for the price increase.
I just have a really hard time believing that. We will soon be paying as much as US players, and we still dont have ingame support. All we have is Right-Now (or sometime next week).

They didn't even have the guts to post it on camelot-europe.com

I think that the idea is to make more people subscribe for longer.

This will mean more money for Mythic/GOA

If you look at the thread in General Discussion, one of our guildes (a German player) posted on our website that the English e-mails went out by mistake today.

They should have gone tomorrow, AFTER the news is posted tonight.

If you look on GOA's hp they say that the ones already running a sub still gets the old prices. Correct me if I read it wrong.

The subscriptions still valid before the revaluation will not be affected until they are renewed, after the 5th of May 2003 onwards.
