alright those seem like little LEDs on them black stick things. That plastic blob thing is just a plastic blob, not a mic and that purple jack thing looks like a headfones thing.

i dunno how i got this or where i got it from, it was just lying around my computer bits...

Plugs into the remote IR sender socket on the back of a TiVo (looks like a small headphone socket). Then you posistion one of the black things on top of your sky/cable/freeview box so that it's pointing at the IR receiver on said box. This way the TiVo can change channels whenever it wants to record something.

If you haven't got a TiVo then they're pretty useless and you might as well, as the others say, attach them to nipples, genetalia, as you see fit.
