... i fear Warhammer is a WoW-clone.

And before you jump me, let me defend my statement:

1. Identical graphics - we can all agree this is 90% same graphics (i'm not saying they stole it from wow, but it's very identical).

2. No /stick-command -> Lame.

3. No master-assist? We all know it, someone is gonna be the targetter in the group, and everyone helps killing his target. I havn't seen this being mentioned yet.

4. No positionbased weap-styles? Style-comboes? As far as i can see on the released videos, it's chickens without heads. I might be wrong - would love to hear from those who tried the beta, and can confirm or deny such styles. WoW were 1 button-game - daoc were 10-20 buttons atleast.


I loved daoc, and i really hope they don't do the wow-ripoff, just because it made money. But sadly Mythic is a company, and most likely they are going for what the 13 year old can play, and not the core mmo-players.
With this said, i HOPE from the bottom of my heart, that this will be THE rvr-game. Better than daoc - better than everything around. (I WANT to love this game).

I know lots of you love this game, without having played it - so rip me apart =) Bring it on.

NDA = Non-Disclosure Agreement.

All beta participants have signed this and they cannot talk about the game until it is lifted. Basically all any of them can tell you is "Im in the beta" and thats about it.

/stick yep that does = lame (collision detection) will make for way more skill then a stick command.

theres plenty of positional based attacks, some of the classes rely on this type of attacks.

As Faeldawn says it`s impossible to talk about anything if your in the beta since anything you say about the game could be easily construed as breaking NDA.

You will just have to wait sorry

But how can you make position based attacks, without a stick command?

If some dude runs up behind me.. getting ready for a back-style, i would simply exploit it and take 2 steps back = i'm now behind him, and he wont be hitting me in the back. Hm.. I guess i have to wait, to see that in action.

If he had the stick command, he wouldn't get a styled attack off on me, but simply a normal attack.
