I downloaded Strike Force...

First cheers to the people who helped in my last thread....

I DL'ed Strike Force today since it looked a bit like Counterstrike which i've been playing a while, but you only get about 6 maps with it it seems. (version 1.70)

How do I choose to play this MOD because there is no 'custiom game menu' like in Half Life where you choose which MOD you wanna play...

Can anyone tell me which maps are cycled on the BW servers so I can download them, coz everytime I try to connect the server is using a map I dont have and I have to download it...

Last time I played UT I'm pretty sure there was a mod menu when starting netgames or botmatchs. I think you're probably blind.

I posted here as a last resort after I tried to work out everything for myself. I couldn't see any menu's.

Yep, there was a mod menu on the main menu screen for UT, but the only option on it was 'force default mods' which doesnt seem to mean anything to me...

I'm not too up to datye on SoF Mod , but I do know that the TO Mod has an batch file that you run to start , as TO uses different models etc.

Check your SoF install directory , or the UT System directory for a SoF starter batch file.

also to play strike force use the dedicated .exe file that the install prog puts in your start menu.

If u dont get one in your start menu for some reason then you can find it in your UT\system folder.

Run the StrikeForce.exe and it loads the game <duh> then strike force has its own in gasme browser , which is much faster than the normal UT one and doesnt cause the problems that using normal UT to run strike force can sometimes.
