This is a strange guy indeed, if it really is him, although it really does seem that it is. The old Sigurd (Sigurd Volsung) registered 10-09-02 and made his last post 27-10-02 (where he btw refers to his sig, which now says "Account Locked out for numerous breaches of our Terms & Conditions (and being really quite amazingly unpleasant)" - Lol). He was apparently banned after that, and then registered a new account here on BW as "the_chimera" on 30-10-02. Seemed to make some decent posts along the way up until recently, when he apparently renamed the account to "Sigurd". I mean, he got a new fresh start without the bad rep that he got himself before, and now he just screws it and goes back to his old self again. Had I myself been in a somewhat similar situation I would have shut up and tried to keep calm and act humble. Well, I guess he could like being known, although most would prefer to be known in a positive way. I just don't get it though.

Nevertheless not being a closed community does also mean the vast majority of us have agreed to abide to certain basics in organizational integration, general and group-based behaviour and use of language as we all live together within this realm. As long as you abide you will be accepted by the others...

If you disrupt the gamefun for people then Midgard as a realm will act quickly and it is pretty obvious your gamefun will suffer most in this process.

However do not mix DAoC with real life issues including personal offenses or even threats as this is a behaviour pattern which is bannable and be assured everyone takes this very seriously !!!!

... having said this I seriously hope that if you come back you also decide to abide to the few basic rules this realm has opted to define for ourselves...

Yes, I know it's a bit extremist but then I don't think telling someone to "die of aids" is very nice either.... but anyway, I won't resort to those kind of flames any more. There are better ways I've found of getting revenge


And I don't intend to turn the community against me again, at least until I reach 50

I never mentioned AIDs or any diseases in my threats

Anyway, what's more likely to happen? Me travel how many hundreds/thousands of miles to kill someone for flaming me on some forums, or someone dying of AIDs? I'm pretty sure I recall someone being told to "die of AIDs" who actually has it in some post.
But, I won't be resorting to threats again, so no worries

You skipped my point. The die of aids thing, while incredibly offensive, isn't actually a statement of intent to end someone's life. Threatening to stab someone with an AIDs infected needle would be.
