I cant get back into daoc :( can someone help me?!

Got a new comp the other day and not been able to get on daoc

When i load up daoc and the choose character screen appears names are there but pics of the chars are not and when i try to get into the game its just the loading bar that appears

I tried removing my drivers for my graphix card and putting on drivers again(which are the new ones nvidia have for my GeForce 3) and tried uninstalling and reinstalling daoc but still same crap

If anyone has had same problem, or might know how i can sort this out plz post here so i can try get back in game

40gb 7200 rp hard drive
512 mem
Geforce3(cant remember exactly what kind )

I am using windows xp pro it kicks ass for games(if you know how to use it properly) then again some people don't like it god knows why its great for games.Windows 98 is good but i think it doesn't compare with xp pro.Taggart you got the 40.41 detonator drivers? from www.nvidia.co.uk?

ones i got were the geforce-tnt ones :/

Download the ones i said and restart pc see what happens otherwise i wouldn't really know

Get 2000 mate windows 98 does not recognise more than 256 of ram maybe even lower could be 128 but Im sure its 256. Windows 2000 recognises it all and uses the full meat.
