I cant buy rifles as a T (cs)

Hey all, 2 times I have been playing as a T. I played 2 rounds so I now have enuff money for an AK .
BUT, I click on rifles and I have the CT rifles menu and I am unable to buy ne rifles at all!!!! After a while the menu went back to normal. I told some1 about this on the server and they said they had had the same problem b4. I think it was becoz I switched teams during the game but im not sure! I feel I should report this to the CS team but i am too lazy. Please could some1 advise me! Cheers

I seem to remmeber having this happen before.

As far as I can remember though, if you pressed the correct key for AK (1) then it will still let you buy it, even though the menu is wrong. >)

It is kind of annoying if you are new to the game, but after a while you just learn the key presses, and the problem doesnt seem the effect these.

Ok cheers m8, I may sound as if I kno nothing about CS but I have been playing for about 10 months now and kno a fair bit about it. I tend not to use number shortcuts except for the equipment menu. I seem to be faster selecting items with the mouse. ALSO wat has every1 got against optical mice????? I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer and it is AMAZING. No mouse lag (even tho I may sometimes blam a deth due to that, hee hee) I luv my optical mouse. I had problems with it at the beginning but as soon as I bought myself an everglide mousepad everything was amazing. What have u got against the dear optical mouse????

Once again dog_dough no one has anything against optical mice, find me a thread where they do.

And also dont play CS with the visual menus. GO to your player setup and advanced and unclick the show vgui menus box. This will give you pure text menus which will increase your buy time, and do not get errors.

Waddya mean text menus? Im not aware of them. how do they work?

The VGUI menus were only introduced a couple of HL patches ago.

before that they were text only no pictures and no mice to click on them, you have to use the number keys.

People prefer them because they are quicker to use, although if you are new to the game it is probably nice to use the vgui menu for a while since it gives you info on the weapons.

dog_dough that is a shit way to increase your forum points just write in in one message ffs. An du can use teh numbers in the vgui menu's, but I have never met anyone who likes teh vgui menus, they are slow and problamatic.

Now i am waiting for someone to come along and delete your pointless two post comments in the latest threads.
