Hunting Guide

I recently moved to Hibernia from Alb/Prydwen, what i'm wondering is this - what is the general order of hunting spots in Hibernia?

I mean in Alb it goes:

Mithra > Plains > Keltoi > Catacombs > Barrows > Pygmies > Witherwoodes

So far I have been to Muire > Sprag Den .. now i'm 25 and a bit stuck, I could probably scrape another level out of Sprag den but its getting pretty slow now the highest mobs are orange.

I'm not talking about soloing because I can find plenty of places to do that. XP is a lot quicker killing BaF reds in a full group .. but where do people go to get groups together?

Your level is Pookhas by Basar

30+ is Coruscating mines
Then at 40+ you sit in innis for a VERY long time for groups till you hit 45 when it gets a bit easier

Although as a shade, I can tell you now, you will almost certainly find it difficult to find groups as a shade :/
(Not definately as groups do take shades, but a lot of groups look for a kind of 3 tank, druid, warden, bard, 2 mage group)

Ya you told me this already Biff, I just wanted a second opinion

Pookahs are very slow xp really, if I were in Albion I would be in the Catacombs. I have a lvl 30 Paladin and he flew up to 30 in less than a week doing the Mithra > Plains > Keltoi > Catas run.

I know all about the grouping problems stealthers have, believe me. But so far I havent encountered any problems whatsoever, all the people I have met in Sprag den have been more than friendly. Sometimes me even ending up as a main tank and not doing so badly

Edit: I dont want to be a pesimist m8, and I think you'll get on fine, just that I wanted to let you know how difficult I found it levelling in hib, we don't seem to like dungeons.

We have a dungeon, Treibh, which I xp'ed with biff, but these days it seems empty whenever I check.

Last time the guild went there, we were running around wiping the place out and there was only 2 other people in there hehe

Anyway come one Hibs! Give the guy a hand, I dont know where to suggest

at 20-25ish theres a great place close to ligen: The azure camp up the river.. probably the most uncapmed spot ever.. dunno why.

Dont want uncamped spots though Want spots where lots of people go to level. I'll see if I can get to 26 in Sprag den I guess, drops are still nice from there, but after that i'm gonna be a bit shafted till I hit 30+ and can go to the corruscating mines.

Treibh is the place I'd head to mate.

TBH it was my favorite place to XP while level'ing my main. These days for some reson people go to the Coruscating Mines at alot lower level, however Treibh is far more fun in my opinion.

As Treibh is is almost empty these days getting the best camping spots should be no problem. I have however not been to Treibh in some time and it maybe that in recent patches the mob spawns have been changed making it a less attractive XP spot.

Last time I went I was level 22 and most of the stuff was yellow, all through the place, there was a few orange lightning worms as deep in as we could go but that was it ..

We rampaged through the place on our own in a grp of 5 or so, XP was mediocre but we stuck it out till we all got our levels then left. But its deff not a good lvl25 - 30 place to level, TBH Sprag den has a lot more to offer. Even at level 25 there are still one or two red mobs in there.

I think I might heed your advice though, i'll try get my lvl 26 in SPrag Den then head to curruscating mines. If like you say people have started going there at a much lower level it might be worth a shot.

hello and er I'm sure thats not Treib...there was stuff in there orange to me last time I went in there and that was maybe at lvl 38,

I'm not totally sure but do u mean somewhere else maybe tbh the place u mentioned sounds like Kao and not Treib at all

That was Kao m8, Treib would be a good place to go next if there are people there otherwise the mines near MM would be good. Treib is worth a look tho as the drops in there for ur lvl would be good.

But don't ask Biff to take u as he hasn't got a clue how to get there!!!!

Maybe we could try and find it with u l8r?

To Treibh = Take a horse to culraid, continue south to the border, then follow the border to the east(i.e. take a left when U reach the border). Treibh should be close when you have passed some trees(irewoodish kind) and there's a clearing in the real trees (the ones who dont hurt ya usually

Hehe, well we have some idea where it is but, I think it's the hardest dungeon to find but then the same as Biff I can't find my way out of a paper bag !!!!!

Anyway we will ask some people to come along for the guild and maybe between us we will be able to find it?

Some ok drops, lots of BAF mobs, shame no1 goes there

Its either Pookas or Irewoods in Mt.Collory.. Irewoods are the best xp, but you tend to get ganked by Bee or Zilly

Yeah, yeah try finding a group as a Piercemaster - we can' t tank, we can't damage but we can respecc to blades asap

If it's any help the co-ords must be about 9,000:26,000 in Lough Gur

irewoods in Mount Collory are good for 24-27 (red/purp ,baf)

fastest way there : Ligen -> Cain, or Ardee -> East Lough Derg -> Cain

if you are still lvl25 i would say go to Cain and pull Irewoods with a 8man pbaoe group and stay there until lvl27. After that go to Glimmerlings at the start of EZ for the next few lvls, when glimmerslings begin getting orange, head for CM..

This should keep you busy for 2-3 days
