as u might have noticed as a bowman u cant always cric. shoot targets ..i understand why u cant when target got their sword and shield up .... but Battlesongs from bards/mincers/skalds`?? u cant cric. shot pple who is playing or got a battlesong running ... is it a bug who well get fixed ^^ or Goas Intention to make a new kind of Pbt against cric shots ??

Never had that problem myself, not that ive noticed anyway.

Oh, and its still Mythic that code the game, not GOA.

I never got to hit a bard through the 3s pbt anyway, so I would not know
I do feel Mythic should give more freedom to the crit shots.
I have no problem with not being able to crit a person moving at speed 5, but a person that is walking normally, or moving stealthed should be fair game.
So annoying to use TS, and not be able to crit one of the 50 SB's Midgard has Shoot them, and they run away, feeling all elite cause they know they will restealth, and use their skills to find you! Skills=See Hidden in this case.

Of all the infs I know, only 1 has it.
Of all the SB's, about 50% has it.

infil can see only hunter n ranger

ns can see hunter scout minstrel
sb can see ranger scout minstrel


some inf have SH... but is not that usefull n kinda expensive...


n btw u can kill an assasin from the range ov TS...

u just need to aim bow... release shot... aim again than release ecc till he is dead...

an archer can hit for 300/400+ on a lether armour with the right arrows...

yess isnt nice to not been able to cirt someone that is moveing...
(still think i did with wolking caster but not sure)
but crit shot is like a perfect shot u made on a relaxed prey =)

Ts? ,,, its sounds like u never tryed truesight on a Heavy buffed SB ..they see u run toward u ... u shoot they evade ,, evade .. evade ;P until hes up ya arse then they 999 str/con debuff u ^^ and gank u with their 300-500 dmg per left axe hit ... i respecced out of Truesight cos well i had a hard time hitting the bastards when i wasnt buffed might try it buffed mayb its different ..



btw i say same as u Christel ( traitor to the infilclass ;P) Hitting pple who runs with speed 5 shouldnt be Cric shooted.. but when they stand still ?? but hey its another Bug mythic/goa got and they fix it when world of warcraft , starwars galaxies, and many others of ( i hope ) better ballanced games are out ... so who cares ... i dónt think in alone of saying the second Wow/swg comes out , then the daoc cds is wellplaced long away the comp...

I've critshotted skalds/bards running songs while standing still before. Haven't played for a while though, so dunno if this is some new bug.

doesn't seem to matter if I see the infil first or not.. if I dare to string an arrow and not use my speed to dart the hell out of there.. then I'm a dead duck.. I haven't tryed with my new sc equipment but I doubt I'll find an unbuffed infil with any interest in a "fair" fight anywhere on excal to see how I match up

Try Duelling a mincer/bard/skald ,,, and let it play a battlesong ,,, then u see u cant cric it

Archer classes only real way of attacking Stealthers with any force is to TS them,then crit shot.Of course if they move,fart or blink then you normal shoot them instead.The probelm is that most SB/NightSHD are buffed to the max usually they evaded 1 out of 3 shots before they have either ran off or closed the gap to you.

I cant see why mythic have coded this tbh damm stupid rule,as stated in previous posts Make crit shot revert to normal shot if running at Skald 5 etc but not a slight movment etc.

hmm hit from behind ... well u got truesight in 1 min ,, if u see a sb ahead .. then u need to run all the way on the otherside of him ,, and then bye bye truesight so ....

i know one thing on paper its something like ( dont know presis) 35% max evade chance ... but that is on paper ... in real life (daoc ;O ) its like evade 95%.....

btw what is it with the Slam no chance to hit ??? ,, only chance scouts got against sbs is Slam ... but when they r uberbuffed then slam is like unstyled melee ( or arrows cos they r unstyled to ) its evade evade evade again ;\

im thinking on respeccing my scout to 50 slash.... just to do some dmg ...

i sure hope the Rapidfire and BT penetrating is styled .. cos orelse its like now ,, miss miss miss evade evade evade...

the test servers Mythic test on aint as excalibur ... not always 2 fg sbs camping from apk-amg, they thing that we all like the chars equal 1 of each but no ... with this evolution then in mayb 5 months its Infiltrators, shadowblades and Enchanters in every realm activity ( except Bg0-3 its overcamped with bonedancers to ;P )... IT want to be test scout ;P

Aye i dont know what cant get goood shot ... but its something with waiting 1 sec to much and then u cant do it +???

"Cannot get a good shot yet" happens when you draw a critshot on a target that went into combatmode (or some action that counts as being in combat) at the same time as you drew the critshot.

If you get this just do a single click on the Critshot button to switch mode to normal shot again.
