Hunters in the new server?

Really gives me good dreams dreaming about hunters, as my first sc'd rvr-ready char was a hunter (back before toa, good days imo).

I _didnt use buffbot_ as I was nearly as poor as i am now, and didnt have money for the best arrows all the time. My spec. was 45bow/50bc/34stealth/12sword - had so much fun, even against people with all the insane buffbot buffs. Now Im thinking about eturning for real to daoc, if goa dont make new server reality inside the next months time, im off to us.

Been offline @ daoc from 1month after i got toa, so dont know if they did something that kills non alb archers totaly (like the new DET for tanks), question: Will a solo hunter compete on the new servers? Remember how much fun it was to pick "weak" targets in a zerg or fg, and then hit the ubber 2xspeed thingie...!! ;D

I remember those times myself. As it is now there is no such thing as easy kills for a hunter. Most casters got "Physical Defense" or "MoC" and many that run solo have a "Divine Intervention" bot stuck to their arse.
Your targets would be low rr casters without ToA and artifacts. GL finding a solo one.
On the other hand if you find 1 or 2 hunter friends and assist a bit you could have fun at the towers/keeps/bridges and where ppl run to the big battles.
Try to join the RvR BGs and do a /bg groups. PM a few solo hunters and ask if they wanna team up.

Check the spec. Whats his chances vs. an infil or ns?? And remember he is an unbuffed hunter.

aye true, however if he can catch them at a reasonable range he might have a chance i think. Also he has buffs, most other stealthers wont.

He has a +50 d/q and a +50 AF buff. The stealthers he will meet will probably be fully buffed and have all the nice MLs.

i thought he was talking about the new Non-toa, no BB server. On a normal server he wont stand a chance i'm afraid

a new server type we will get in a couple of months. (or next year...)
Toa zone is not accessible and all buffs will be ranged and limited to groupmembers only.
