Hunter template help!

In a hunter template what am i looking to cap etc? Atm, got gsv, som, battler sleeves, sharkskin glooves, brags bow an belt of sun. Thinking of respeccin to melee based as bow sucks. just can't seem to work out a good temp, any help is appreciated except the omg reroll you newb comments.

First thing remove that braggarts bow.

its no good.

go for fools bow, much better. and good for gates aswell.

and make choices, melee or bow.

dont try too combine them.

it will only gimp ya more.

so if you wanna go melee go for GoV, SoM, Mad Scal and Golm.

sharkskin gloves you can keep, just too summon the arrows at lvl10.

Belt of the sun is only good for summoning the Sun Weapons immo.

so get another belt, and switch them.

and its pretty easy, if you want melee hunter, go for melee dmg, style dmg and melee combat speed.

And if you want bow hunter, go for arch dmg, arch speed and arch range.

and try things out, you learn from ya mistakes mate.

And check the forums of vnboards for templates aswell, and take a look at a few items.

and then you can see if you want them in ya template yes or no.

And thing is do you wanna spend money or not.

It's for darkness rising, but everything except the champ weapons are available now, and no harm having a template that can add those in easily later

lol at that hunter TL template :s seemed very very average at best.... well at end day imho you better off going melee oriented template as hunter bow dmg and range aint that great and spear isnt the best of melee weapons for to hit bonus etc when most opponents dual wield..

Id say you need 26 dex cap and at least 10-20 str cap in there too, con cap helps but hp per con for hunter not great so would go for higher caps which will benefit ur weaponskill with both bow (dex) and spear (str/dex). Melee speed is also needed as high as possible even with 17-20% melee haste u gonna be far from cap with nice slow spear.

items which be of use probably:

Flowing antalya shawl (hard get)
Battler dex cap sleeves (7cap)
ml9 studded legs
Scalars/gov for caps (tho i use gov/Mariashas)
Cyclone bearded bow (fools too fast imho except on casters maybe and braggarts is cack)
malamis belt or other ml belt drop (sun belt pants and with swap out timer nerfs do u wanna risk 15 min wait to have ur spear of choice?)

I would rather swap between various lgs/arties have template which is hands free is possible.
