Hunter level 40 epic

Just a question . The level 40 epic for hunters gives you the epic weapons, do we have to choose one out of the bow or spear ?

Or do we get both spear and bow ?

I know if it comes down to having to choose just one it would be on hell of a hard choice to make as they are both nice weapons.

You will have to choose either the bow or spear(sword).
The bow is nice, it has a fast drawtime and a decent damage.
It do less hard critshots then the slow Twilight Doombringer but with high beastcraft you can have a arrow in the air every 1.7-2 second and crit with 3 second.
Can easy kill high yellow boneaters or wolfaurs in varulvhamn before they reach you, its like a machine gun.
Have not tried the spear since I can not find anyone willing to sell it to me. Contact Spix anyone who wants to sell it.

Had bow and spear, to be honest spear not that good and bow aint too good either, my bit of advice get a crafted spear

ok thank you guys for your tips.
I think I will pick the bow as this is the main weapon of choice for a hunter. There are plenty of magic and crafted spears out there and with spellcrafting on its way will mean I could be able to make one that is close to it in power of a better spear.

Hmm... the spear rocks.... its fast so assassins evading problem is smaller than with GA spear, it procs, its slash, its 100%... its über at 40-43 ffs . But get yourself a equal thrust spear to, and when that minstrel stuns you, switch spear.. works like a charm. I have both and use them constatly...
