a cream egg is perfection, why deep fry and ruin it?
Aye. Well. Apparently in Scotland they call it a Stoner. 1000 calories and 26 grams of fat. Yummy.
The deep fried creme egg doesn't. It looks like someone sliced a pig's testicle in half and filled the scrote with goat vaginal juice.
Looks like a normal creme egg then!
Our local speciality for ages was the Mars bar in batter. As Alan Partridge once said "Cholesterol, its what Scottish people eat".
You'd be amazed what we would eat if you deep-fry it =)
