As you can see from my post count I have rarely posted, but here's another one. Milo give it up. Ch3tan often provides advice to newer players (where others choose to flame) and though he sometimes provokes and posts the odd out of place remark, so what? Yes his post can be read both ways, yes he probably didn't think too long over it, and yes it didn't come across as he intended.... but, does that really justify you throwing the bath water out with the baby, the toys out of the pram, and dummy out of the mouth (notice the clever use of childish references). You managed to waste a number of posts dragging this out, so in answer to your question it probably just you. In life most of us don't jump off the deep end until you are sure it's worth it. In this case leave it be. As for maturity resorting 'f**k off m8' aint very intelligent / constructive / mature / all of the previous (delete as appropriate).

Let it be and enjoy the BW forums it's normally an enjoyable ride.

I did read the thread, and I'm not just talking about this one. Everytime I've seen you post you're acting like a fucking idiot. What is it with these forums? All you talk about is servers full of people flaming each other and all you lot do is flame each other!
My advice is to find a server or two and stick to them. I play on the Bagom server and there is never any flaming on there. There are some excellent players and a mixture of lpb's and hpb's but you can always have a good game there. The problem with cs and online games in general is there are too many kids with foul mouths and too many people like you, mate.

Was there any reason for you to intervene? No. Maturity is not the issue here. Telling someone to 'fuck off' is hardly immature - I suggest you learn the meaning of the word. No wonder the internet has such a bad image - and in particular online gaming - you are all so argumentative. You'll argue with anyone for any reason won't you? It's very disappointing. Did you not read a thing I said? i was trying to encourage people to STOP arguing and flaming and just find a server and PLAY. instead you try and disect everything I have said and turn it around again. The only issue here is that on the 4 occasions I have visited this forum I have seen the guy posting harsh, unfair rubbish. There was no reason for you to put your '2 cents' in. I haven't wasted a number of posts dragging this out - that was my first one.
BTW if I am down the pub an someone tells another guy to fuck off, I don't walk over and tell them to stop being immature.

Tiptop responded after your first post, that was not encourging anyone to stop flaming or find a decent server to play on it was a personal attack against me. I dont really care though, this aint the real world its text, its not hurting anyone (but you it seems).

I play perfectly happily on Bw servers without flaming thatnk you, people post here about cs with questions/comments and we all discuss it. Yes flames start, mainly its jokes. Text does not convey a tone of voice so you have to be very carefull if you dont understand irnoy, sarcasm or humour of any type.

If you dont like it you dont have to post here. Its a free world.

Also notice that this started with a mis understanding. It is limited to this post,I dont go around finding and flamin ignus wehreever possible. YOu yourself claim not to visit very often, it's unfortunate you have only seen posts in which I am being cuntish, there are about 5 threads a day here I suggest you read them all.

That pisses me off so much when people say that.

I am going to explain lag here...

Lag is caused by the time taken for packets of data to goto the server and back again, this lag puts the player at a slight dissadvantage.

Idealy the game should be played with a ping of 0. That is the normal. The lag causes play to be abnormal, so a ping of 20 still has a delay of 20 ms before seeing events that happen, he is at a dissadvantage to normal, someone who is on a ping of 300 is even more at a dissadvantage. This guy is makeing it out like a low ping helps you, fuck does it.

One of my favourite sayings on this subject is..

A low ping will never help you, but a high ping might hinder you.

Please don't think that we are cheating because we have a low ping, we are still at a dissadvantage, just not as much as someone at a ping of 300.

HPB or LPB only servers wont happen for the simple reason that there is no easy and reliable to set them up, they have to be admined. This isn't necessarily a good/bad idea its just not practical.

I have been getting an amazing amount af shit from HPW bitches, telling me im a cheater and i should fuck off out of the servers they are on. This just starts to irritate me.

It has made me hate HPW's so much!

I mean... why cant those cheap ass HPW bitches pay £5-10 more? for a fraction of the ping and a 24/7 connection? i mean, im not rich and i can still afford £5-10 more than my old crappy dial-up modem connection.

yeah but that £5 - £10 can be spent on a good night out shagging an drinking, did you ever think of that? I couldn't get a better connection even if I wanted, and you'll find that some of the best players are HPWs as if you play them on a lan they will eat you alive, I know, I've seen it.
Did you ever see the winnie the Pooh episode where tigger was trying to bounce up to the top of a cliff, and Rabbit said to be the best bouncer he had to where these heavy boots, he couldn't do it but because of the practice with the boots on he could easily do it without the boots on. Barrysworld dont' have a HPw server, I think you will find it was Jolt's.

With right they started moaning at you and you should have left the server, I only hope an admin kick banned you. Why bother trying to get easy kills on mainly newbie HPW's, what does it prove about you?

LOL i went in that server by accident, i didnt actually realise it was a HPW server, hence the word 'Accident' . I Only Prove myself when i have to, that knifing thing was a bit of fun. Anyway, 3 weeks ago i was a HPW, i kicked ass when i was a HPW, and i kick ass about 10 times more, now im a LPB. so no, i dont think i would get creamed in a LAN game thankyou.

I started this thread a few weeks ago with a simple little question, which was answered nicley by Embattle, and now look at it. Flaming everywhere, I wish I hadnt bothered. To be honest it was all over and done with in 3 posts.


To be fair to ch3tan, he has actually been very helpfull in the past and at least he realises that most of the people on the Jolt hpb servers (of which there are now 3 '18,20,21') are newbies (although some are very good players) who are just starting out, at least thats my excuse.
