I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software problem.

There is a printer on a machine (above model) which runs 2K pro. When I attempt to print anything out the printer deletes it from the queue. Its a bit wierd.

Hi doh_boy

I assume when you say it's deleted, the document (etc.) isn't printed once it's been removed from the queue? If so, then your best bet may be to remove the printer from the printers list and try reinstalling it, and see whether that has any effect.

Kind Regards

well what happens is when you look at the queue in windows it stays on 'printing' for a few seconds then goes to 'deleting - <myusername>'

When I re-installed it the wizard said there was no plug-and-play devices. I installed anyway and get the same result.

Its a novell networked pc but the printer is local.

thanks :D

Can't you install printer but chose the printer manually? Don't scan for plug and play devices, choose port, then manufacturer...

Windows 2000 should have the drivers built into it already.
