Hi all

Some of you may remember me and others may not. Was just wondering how are things going in DAoC now days ?

I heard Keepers of the Light are trying to rebuild which is good to hear, but what I want to know is has much changed other than some new items new mobs and new areas anything else different about the game ?

Are albions as strong as they used to be or have they gotten weaker ?

Also how many people that I used to team up with still play ?

Well time I checked up on my swg char left him on auto killing. The games a little boring but should become more interesting once I get better stuff and skills.

Come back wit' me cent!!!

<-- Still waiting for sub pages to get back up, but every second I wait wants to make me play it more :D

DaoC is not the holy grail of mmorpg, no game will ever be. There are always be class imbalances, leveling treadmills, cheaters and exploiters etc in every mmorpg. And even 20 years from now there will still be the problems we see today in the games of the future. But the pros of some mmorpg heavily outweigh the cons and i believe that daoc is one of the best mmorpg i played.

The main thing that attracts me to daoc is a goal that everyone aims for. A simple motivation that drives us all to better ourselves and help others to achieve that goal. That goal in daoc is outposts, relics, DF, equipment and realm points which can gift our capped out characters with an end game. Topping that off we can actually create a combat character with tradeskills that wont gimp our effectiveness in pvp/rvr. I left neocron mainly because of lack of endgame and goal, both which daoc can provide me with. Its a shame that GOA are spoiling the game that mythic created. I really hope that they can get their act together and start treating customers like customers and not cash cows. Blocking out customers during such an ongoing crisis with no contact email is unacceptable IMO.

I look forward to getting back in game. If you ever decide to come back i'd be willing to rejoin kotl and help remake it what it once was :)
