hows the game developed since release

its been 3 months or so now? hows the game come along since then it was buggy as hell anyone who played then knows that.

is there actually anything to do besides xp ur skills or is it just endless kill missions still? coz i got kinda bored of the missions

As for bugs and stuff, well ill give SOE there dues they are working very hard to sort things out.

im having alot of fun, havnt been playing THAT long, but still its good. i havnt noticed too many bugs, the odd chat bug here and there, but nothing hugely major. i think the one thing im personally looking forward to most is vehicles.. they're make the game 'alot' more enjoyable, when doing the more boring tasks such as walking.

Bugs wise i only join about 6 weeks or so ago and can say as of the time i joined very few bugs really.
Some duping bugs been resolved now but since it has no effect on me i care less.
Erm gameplay wise .At first i found it damn boring because i have had the "slash/hack or stand/shot" mentality but i found out if you engulf yourself into the world you will not even want to go around blasting anything.
I started as a marksman got bored in less then 1 week and actually posted a review saying how crappy the game is.
Then decided to give it a shot as a marksman but now focusing a lot on crafting and you know what i am having a blast now.
I have actually started roleplaying after running into a lot of roleplayers.
Though i have to say some servers are really annoying mainly because they are packed with power gamers that grind fast and then moan(sorry for saying this eclipse is one of them).
Best bet is pick a fresh server with lower population.

This game is no less boring than other games concerning the XP part. It's cool in the beginning but it becomes very trivial in no time. All MMORPGs are. Sadly...

What I especially enjoy about this game is that the missions will have yuou running around exploring a bit instead of finding one good spot where to chain pull.

Bugs are always annoying and source of frustration. But I honestly haven't found many. Did you ever play Asheron's Call 2? Then you'll know how frustrating bugs can get! SWG is perfect compared to AC2.

My biggest concern is useless classes like Bio Engineers and Chefs. I really hope they do something to fix this because their intentions with these 2 classes are great.

All in all I still enjoy SWG after 2 months...

Game is ok for a month by which time you will be wondering what else there is to do. You could make an alt but that means leaving all your friends behind and starting on a different server or buying a second account. All because SOE are lame and wont let you have more than 1 char per server.

If you enjoy exploring the same randomly generated landscapes that are void of anything other than randomly generated mobs then this is the game for you.

As you can probably guess I dont think this game is all that great but there is hope for it. Hold onto your cash and check back in 6 months. Hopefully some content will be added and the horrible bugs and class imbalances will have been ironed out.

i got the game on release but left after 2 weeks due to sheer boredom of the endless kill missions ;/

i reactivated my account yesterday and the buggs i knew were gone and they have added some nice touches to the game.

however its still new and i do think there is alot of potenital for it mounts/veichles will add more fun to the game.
