I've been thinking of coming back to DAoC for abit of fun before War hits, but I'm worried that the game isn't what I remember it to be (I can almost guarantee that but meh, never mind).

I dropped out when WoW hit, as alot of my rl friends wanted to play it. It was fun while it lasted, but blizzards efficiency has made the game dull for me. As well as ofcourse its complete lack of any PvP and the 110% carebear attitude.

So, do you think I should get a blast from the past, or just bide my time. If I did come back, what classes are FoTM (Is there still "fotm"?), what should I roll? etc etc...

Light tanks?

Don't care about realm, will most likely be levelling duo.

I currently have a 50 theurg, infil, cleric, necro and wizard.

I was looking to play an offensive tank, or maybe a friar.

Offensive tank - Would recommend a Merc, But a friar's nice both for leveling and RvR. Armsmen are quite a nice class to
