Ok for the last 3patchs I have downloaded the patch for test it on Gorre before it came out. But I dont know how to make it so I dont have to d/l it aint when it goes live :-(. So each time I have been downloading the same file twice.

Can someone plz help me with this? Thx you!!!

posted this in another thread but i'll do it again just for you

you have two camelot folders, one for the live game, one for the gorre game, in the live game folder backup the update.dat, then copy the gorre camelot folder over the live one, that will patch your version, then replace the update.dat with the one you just backed up (because the one in the gorre folder you just copied was altered for the test server) and away you go .

Wouldn't it be easier to just move the "update.dat" from the "live folder" to the "Gorre folder"?

yes it would be simpler, but why bother? just copying over the origional camelot folder with the new one you use for gorre allows you to keep that one seperate for use on the test server, if your gonna keep the two running paralell for much gorre use then you may as well keep them for their intended purpose.
