How you would want to go out?

Ok, I've been pondering a thread like this but have been holding off because I wondered if it might be interpretted in the wrong way, but ah well, here goes

Death. Its going to happen to everyone (apart from tohtori maybe), the final game over when people go to the big spectator mode in the sky. Now you may well be lucky enough to choose, but assume now you could write the script to your own end - how would you go out?

Blaze of glory? Quietly? Young or of old age?

It sounds morbid typing it, but in a way its not something I worry about in itself. I worry more about what would happen to my family etc, but ignoring all of that, the idea of dying on its own doesnt seem that bad tbh!

I've got better things to die of, like smoking and alcohol poisoning.

To me, the best possible death I can think of would be in a battle, with a weapon in my hand, a curse on my lips and defiance in my heart, knowing I'd gone out in the service of something bigger than myself.

The idea of getting old really does scare me FAR more than the idea of dying ever has, and I've been close a couple of times.

So if you guys could choose, how would you go out?

I'm quite serious, although i'd prefer it if I met my end quickly, but I really would like to be in that sort of situation where the whole world just goes "OMFG" sort of thing, like a volcano explosion or something!

Hey! It's my chestnut, so i'll bank it as long as i like!

But, for arguments sake, I would like to go out in the "other way":

Smothered to death between the bosoms of Angelina Jolie and Milla Jovovich *nod*

OR that failing...

Running through the streets of New York, being chased by the military, shooting things with big automated weapons, launching rockets, laughing maniacally, and in general leaving a trail of absolute destruction before going out in a blast that would take out a couple of cityblocks.
