I feel well chuffed with myself right now

Been dealing with a problem at work for a couple of months now, mainly trying to get a win7 machine connecting to a site through citrix, just wouldnt work, people at the connecting company are saying its our proxy. But every other machine connects so i knew it wasnt our proxy.

Got in touch with the citrix specialists at head office. No-one could give me an answer other than we are connecting ok, no use to me at all

So after many hours all alone working on this i done what people who are supposed to specialise in this couldnt do

Authenticate NTLM in win7

A default local security policy in Windows 7 prevents LM and NTLM responses.

Search for local security policy

1. Go to Local Security Policy > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options
2. Select Network security: LAN Manager authentication level
3. Change security setting to Send LM & NTLM responses
