/playdemo <demoname>
Make sure demos are in your cstrike dir and they will play.

No that I know of. I think your fixed like you are in quake3, although UT allows you to move any direction in the demo.
As for CS I think your stuck.

While we're on the subject of demos in CS, does anyone know how to record them reliably? Whenever I record a demo in CS it always seems to make some CTs appear as Ts and vice versa (no, this is nothing to do with that skin cheat - they were fine during the game). The HUD doesn't always appear, either, although I think that's to do with when you actually start recording.
A friend of mine who tried recording had the same problem (at least, in Internet games at BW - local on-your-own-LAN recordings seem fine). Does everyone have this problem? Might explain why I haven't seen many CS demos around on the Internet compared to Q3 ones, etc.
