Ok... here's my problem in hopefully comprehendible form.
Before I moved to the US - Two WinXP PC's hooked up to the internet and network by a DSL route via USB.
Installed a network and shared online access and worked just fine and fast.
Now in the US of I-can't-get-DSL-here - same two PC's
PC1---Hub---PC2

Dial-up
Whenever I attempt to enable ICS on PC1, PC2 can't establish a network con to PC1 anymore. Both PC's get their IP's via DHCP.
When I use the network assistant two networks appear.
The old "Homenet" my DSL router software installed and the new MS-homenet.
I suspect that's where the problem is... the router software has been uninstalled without a trace left yet the Homenet connection is still there.
And yes, this one is directly linked to my earlier ICS problem.
I just thought a new thread would help.... somehow.
Thanks in advance for your help.
