How To Record Demos

I am wanting to record a demo, but how to do this has left me stumped ???

Anyone out there know how to do this PLZ

Easy.....

Bring up your console window with the "~" key

type /set g_syncronousclients 1
then type /record demo1

To stop the demo,

Type /stop demo

I have tried this and it didnt work

But i did work it out and have posted the correct way below, for your ref

/set g_syncronousClients 1
/record demo1

Now when i tried to stop this , i couldnt ???

I tried all ways to stop it and in the end just exited game.

I went back to my Base EF folder and there was in fact a demo folder there with a file in it.....

so i know it works m8...

If you can find out how to stop it then that would be great

i have found a much easyer way to rec demos, its a program called EFRec, which can be downloaded here: http://people.zeelandnet.nl/picard/efrec/efrecmain.html

I HAVE DOWNED THIS PROG, BUT CANT SEEM TO FIND THE ACTUAL FILE

I have downed the program above but cant find the actual zip file

can you help ???

Hi,

I'm the author of that program..
if you downloaded it, and you don't know where you stored it, just look for a file called EFRec.zip. Start->find->files or folders and search all drives. If you can't find it, either your download was aborted or never started correctly.

After that, just read the (simple) instructions on the webpage
