How to record a DAoC video?

I want to make a DAoC video myself but I want to know if anyone have any ideas of how the best practice for this is?
I mean, I could use duel screen and have it recorded on a video player via the TV, that would work and then import it into a video editing program of some sort.
That way there will be minimum lag ..

Or is there a way to record playing daoc without insane lag lite screenshots directly to a wma format or something.

Pls help those who are experienced in stuff like this, cuz I'm not :)

Don't do the shit with the videorecorder and then capture it .. works best if you put together 2 pc's.
ATI cards are just perfect for that as they give out monitor and tv-signal at one time unlike the nvidia cards i know.

Use a normal Bt878/Bt848 analog tv-card, get the btwincap driver, some mp4 video codec (like divx or xvid) or if you wanna capture lossless the huffyuv-codec,
virtual dub (for capturing and editing the video) and a big hd.
Play a bit around with the settings and you're good to go.

You'll see how easy it is to make better quality movies than most of the stuff posted on camelotvault.
