He committed the offence in February while on bail after being charged with an attempted burglary in Ely, Cambridgeshire, in August.

reading things like this, and hearing other stories on these forums make me glad I don't live in Blighty. I'd likely be in jail for serving GBH with intent to kill to some bastid who'd /shot at my cat/key'd my car/broke into my home/threatened me or my gf/etc/etc.

the only thing that makes me glad is that he's clearly the "thicko" grade crim, who will be caught many times and have to make "friends" with a bigger, stronger cellmate in jail an equal amount of times. makes me almost feel sorry for the bugger.

Whilst there are a lot of such scum around TdC, I've personally only had one small incident. Kids throwing stones at my windows (luckily I didn't have to pay a thing for repairs, the housing office took care of it all, the one upside to living in such a place).

The people 'whining' about things are always louder than those praising the good stuff.
