How to make things better...

Since ppl from norm servers are so quick to quit playing on Camlann, i started thinking, how could the real players in Camlann help the situation. Some kind of a social system maybe?
Maybe some kind of rookie departments for the big highlvl guilds
or support guilds. How about neighbourhood patrol to keep the cities clean of greygankers ? These are crazy ideas of course, but clearly something needs to be done. I dont like the idea of a totally controlled system in PvP environment, since i live in one irl.


Maybe the guilds should loosen up their lvl demands. Take a certain number of lvl 10+ or lvl 20+ ppl (with class filtering) and put them together. I think it would start rolling on it's own since they would group amongst eachother and get to know the pvp system real quick. And some day they will be highlvls. This might really make a diff in power relations. Especially when the highest demanding guild is Requiem (at the same time the most populated).

What do you think will happen if any of the big guilds as Requiem, GDE, IM, RH etc take in lvl 10 players?

They will be greyganked/chainkilled by the enemy guilds.

the problem is daoc is not designed to be a pvp game and Mythic didnt really put too much effort into making it one. Some like it, others dont

Personally i whole-heartedly agree all in it except the "Archer nerf"

Many people get frustrated when they get greenganked with 1-2 shots because someone wants easy money :/

Yep, and easy rp. Mythic should do this and mythic should do that. This is not an answer. Everyone knows, Mythic does what it likes. Greyganking enemy guilds is the same thing as greyganking in common. There's no point doing it. I dont greygank ppl, enemy guild or not. Only thing that makes me gank a grey is if he attacks me or my groupmember.

1.when u kill grey u dont get rp/xp/money
I dont get rp for some greens too...
2. killing greygankers will result in a total chaos coz greys dont mind to zerg purple do they?
3. u'll never get rid off leechers
4. it'll end like who's not with us is against us and we'll end up with nothing to kill or chained till quit

I would implented so big fat love on pvp server but that's entirely impossible with germans or french as they mostly get the game in the other way than i do( at least i think so by their type of playing)

maybe it should be made like in UO.. if u dont kill poeple it's a crime to kill u and the killer will be banned from Main Cities for some time... and Criminals get other color of the name etc..

We all know how teenagers and early teenagers have this craving to fuck everything up. It's pretty sad and embarassing, but I was a teenager once too

I have been dealing with finnish teenagers on one other game and I dont think they really differ that much from these french and german ppl who would be idiots if they weren't only 12-17 yrs old. Only thing making me happy is that there's not -alot at least- Finnish teenagers playing and making me feel embarassed, cos they really are the kings of them all. Whining, bitching, spoiled, frustrated brats who think the world turns because of them.

I think we discussed this abit ingame at one point Might have been 2-3 months ago or more.

But anyways, one of the reason why people kill greens, is that greens drop cash. Easy cash farming.. 1-2 nukes, 1-2 hits.. This should be changed :/ It's not like you got any chances unless you got insta mez/root and then can run (Like my Skald ^^)

But it's kinda obvious that Mythic doesn't care about PvP anymore.. Sigh.. With tweaking, it might actually be fun for guildless / lower level people

Yeah flag PK's a different colour and make them drop 5x the normal rp and cash for 1 hour... maybe that way once they kill someone they know they have to watch out for retribution.

Will make it more fun.. eveyone trying to kill the PK's.
