and for the one that said what a mincer has.
heal, aoe mezz, single mezz, demezz, instant aoe mezz, instant single mezz, buffs, lull, dd, weapon spec (they can spec weapon), endu regen, speed, health regen, mana regen in one word - bard and the bard mezz last for more than 5-10 seconds ^^

well... mincer has the following: Health Regen, DD instax2, Speed, Stun insta, Confusion Insta, Charm, Mezz, aoe Mezz, Power Regen, demezz, abla, weapon, stealth - the chance to spec for the best anytime style in game + can do stealthkeep takes... nice class no? i see 4 insta interupt, 5 if you count pet, confuse could be good using fighting near grannies? (does it work on enemy realm pets btw? )... oh yeah, remember that bards are the main mez class for hib, and mincers aren't

also, theu's has some nice stuff, but cba to type it, read about your classes on daoc.catacombs.com instead of going here to whine >_< (not against you amuse... but really... QQ)

It's really hard to kill hibs if they allways are with full Toa'd, radar and two mezzers in group ofc, and most of groups high rr. :touch:

Hibs does get the advantage, and the reasons for this is 3 things.

insta mezz
group purge
loads and loads of pets.

-insta mezz: yes, but mids got insta mezz, insta root, insta stunn
-group purge: ok, good ability, i agree
-pets: lmao.. every theurgist got more pets than 2fg hibs group together

wtf are you ppl even talling about? :> sorc, mincer, theurg can (played well ofc) interrupt a whole group, just like mids can. In fact, hibs are the worst when comming to this issue, and for your information, interrupts kill hib groups since we rely on caster doing the dmg, and when they cant do dmg while interrupted you guys have quite a fair chance agianst us. Besides, there aint much difference if you look at theese 'new' fotm classes from hib with alot of lightnukes:

2 healer classes with equal interrupt abilities.
1 debuffer, spirit caba for albs debuffs spirit for theurgists air nukes and body for mind/body sorcs and themselves, mana chanter for hibs debuffs heat and cold for light mentas/chanters and light elds. also pretty equal.
Paladin/Hero for bg
Mincer/Bard for speed (and who playes the same role in groups; interrupts (bards _dont_ heal since its a _really_ waste of power, except that bards have to make the opening move vs. sorcs, mezzing))
Warden

The warden seems to give the hib group a little more advantage since they can heal a bit and they got the _really_ usefull resists b/s/e, but since clerics got the h/c/m resists wich is good vs. hib groups the resist part is equal. And when we are talking caster groups here pbt and bg can foad. Therefore Wardens are only included in hib groups for their resists and crappy heals (aka bringing down utility). Against mid groups its a whole other talk tho.

Another advangte we got is that our elds got both disease and nearsight whereas cabas have to choose one of the things, but as cabas only cast debuffs they have more time to use their tools compared to the eld as its very busy nuking around.

For theese perspectives i think it all comes out to this: is albs greater interrup capability better than hibs cc, slighter better heals (due to warden) and slight better nukes? Remember that the interrupts makes theese abilites worthless.

This is how the alb group loos with theese abilities:

Mind sorc
Spirit caba

Some random class?

And the hib group:

Druid

Bard

I'll tell you how hib win - its cos we play as a team in our grps. you guys are unbelievable - uve got more people then anyone else, uve got alot of advantages over mid/hib.

You guys go around in your very unskillfull zerg's, and u win - u do the zerg thing so much that uve never learnt any skill ! thats the truth - and when you guys very occasionally decide to go out in your 1fg's like normal people - u get ganked - without 1000000000000000 albs backing u up - ur useless.

imo thats the truth so dont come to hib looking for sympothy cos ur get none from me.

and too note - yes GP is good! but so what - i hear its going when NF comes so anyway

so many mistakes in this tread (btw the first post isnt so brigth either i think)

first of all ..

GP rules .... if the alb caster group loose's mezz then they are fucked...

some say that not many hibs got the single prudge .. that only show how good a RA the GP is .. and it allow's hibs to get more DAM dealer RA's..

some say why dont you get power relic's ...

well as you guys proved it takes you 6 min from guard spam untill the relic goes neutral ..

it takes 7 min to move from snowdonia borderkeep to relic keep in caster speed... 5ish min with minser

so ... you understand we cant defend the power relic..

the 20% differance is a huuugghh advantage..

some1 say that cleric got the heat and cold resist buff's .. thats wrong .. thats the friar who got em ... if a friar should be worth grouping he neededs to be ml8 battlemaster which is pretty rare becuase most ppl who like RvR retired their frairs during Dank age of tankalot becuase of 2h and no determination..

some say that bard dont heal but a mind sorc can nuke ... think a bit about that again plz...

some ppl here say that hib groups have less interrupt than alb groups ...

thats allmost true .. they forget a few things though ...
enchanters instant DPS debuff ... druids got pets .. even grey pets interrupts and often the pets find out clerics by them self though the agro controll daoc use's

loads of ppl here compare the hero's BG to the pally's BG .... remember hero do way more dam than a pally..

allso if you guys say the stun youre casters got is nothing then stop using it

it is so easy for a toa'ed hib caster to stun and DD a guy to death.. the cleric according to the forum trolls here should both interrupt..stun... and heal

imho the only chance to kill a hib group is on range if you loose to alb groups you have made some mistakes or had bad luck if you are in close on them..

another mistake here is the minser .. it is king in stealther wars but in groups it a So So char .. mainly it is in the group for Demezzing (GP Again) try to notice that less and less groups use a minser .. and it is purpose..

oh and all the BS about the AFK sorc's and other class's ..... try to understand that the other guys are just like you .. it is not like that the brain trust is locatet in Hib or Mid ...

there is ofcuase suxy players in alb .. but so is there in hib .. try to wonder why no Gank guilds surview in alb exal ? ... looaadssss of gank guilds have tryed to move to albs and they all die.. they never make it .. a few guilds do ok .. but they never become a DH or NP ..

Druids have to heal and interupt too aoe root is used for that... wonder why i've seen many good sorcs use their dd's to kill ? theu's got alot of pets too? and... blah blah blah
btw... how do you think FL and PE etc on prydwen manage playing alb? they are/were fighting NP, BO, Eclipse etc.? i can tell you... teamplay
