How to change cd key

can anyone tell mi how can i change my cd keys for counterstrike without reinstalling the game again. Thankz in advance.

It's in a registry key. I can't remember exactly where (probably current_user/software/valve or something), but if you go to the registry and search for your current key (it's stored unencrypted), it will pop up. Then just change that value.

Yeah that is right if you look into the registry you will easily be able to change it from there ;-) altough it does sound a bit like piracy to me

I'll probably be buying the counterstrike CD myself sometime soon, but currently I have a Halflife CD which I got for free when I signed up for an ISP. At that time the tubes did not send out the CD key with it so I had to phone up. I think they must have given the same CD key out to everyone as it's only 50/50 that I get through the WON check at the start of the game online.
And I know I definately didn't give the code to anyone else.

Lol piracy, the ISO was nuked, because there was no way to get a key. also no major group released it just some lame ass group who didn't even put a Cue file in

No current need a CDkey game will work online, this is allways stated in the NFO
