How to capture audio?

Using any means necessary really, need to capture audio.

Got camstasia and ofcourse, the basic crap that windows has, but i can't find where to set so it records the sound from the "screen" and not the mic.

Options
Properties
Recording (OK)
Put a Tic under 'Stereo' (So it records from your machine, not the mic)

Then you can use the silly sound recorder for a minute, unless you're just recording from screen.

EDIT:

Not sure of what tools record sound, other than audio-capture thingy.
