1 Introduction
This guide is designed to show you how to create a great exp group, (so you can get fast exp, without having to do anywhere near the ammount of work as your would solo). This guide is specificaly designed for use at the 'H' in malmo, but can be used as a rough guide for many other exp spots, of varying levels.
2 Making Up Your Group
2.1 Finding the People
The first thing you will need for your group, is people. You will need 7 other people for your exp group. But why stop at inviting 7? What if one of the 7 gets lost on the way? What if one of the 7 Link-Dead's? What if one of the 7 turn out not to be the spec you expected them to be, based purely on the class they play?
Hell no, you want the fastest, best exp, with no waiting, so you want the best possible combination of people, and you want them ASAP! Invite 10 people just to be safe. No wait! that only leave room for 3 people to be 'disoptimal'. More the merry (you are) so invite as many as you can, or even everyone in the game, of the level range you want them to be!
2.2 Getting the people to Come
Now to get round to inviting people to join your group. First rule, don't let them know that you invited way more people than you are going to use. Tell them they have a 'Guaranteed spot in G1'.
Next you want to tell them how good the exp will be (if they actualy get in your group). Tell them the exp will be 'Uber'.
2.3 Getting your people to You
Now you need to choose a meeting place for all you're little suckers. Write down all their names and classes, and roughly divide them into 2 groups.
Have one of the groups go to your exp spot, and invite them to join a CG with you, and have the other group meet you somewhere.
Chose somewhere not too close to where you will be exping, you want a little while to check each person out first.
Pick somewhere about 10 minutes run away from your exp spot.
(NOTE It is very important these 2 groups do not know of each others existance.)
2.4 Auditions
Now, when you are running, casualy toss little questions in, to find out who cuts Your grade. For example, say to one of the runemasters you brought, "put PBT up mate, the gnats are biting
(NOTE just because someone is carrying a metalic cornflakes box, doesnt mean they are a shield warrior, click them. If the word THANE comes up anywhere on your screen, apply the tip-ex to their name ASAP. Other bad words to look out for are HUNTER, and SHADOWBLADE [unless the SHADOWBLADE is you, in which case give yourself a hug, you're uber!] )
2.5 Putting it all Together
Now you know who you want in your group, all you have to do is get the good ones in your group, and the rest out of your sight.
When you get near to the exp spot, with the half you told to follow you, rather than go direct to the spot, tell them all to ungroup. PM each person you want in your group to come to you, and invite them quickly.
Now you need to act quickly. Pretty soon people are gunna realise you invited way too many of them. PM one of the people who didn't make it into your 'Uber group' and tell them 'Can you start G1 please'. Of course you told EVERYONE they were in G1, so when he asks who should be in G1, and everyone replies 'ME!', he's gunna get everyone who he doesn't invite, mad at him, not you.
Now while all those rejects are fighting over who should be in 'G1', you and your 'uber group' start pulling, and getting 'Dah exp!'. Your group may realise what you did, but what do they care, they are getting nice exp.
(NOTE while some places normaly have a G1 and G2 system, where G1 is the high level group, and G2, the leech group, you just want 1 full group, because only YOU are allowed to leech)
2.6 Damage Control
The rejects will eventualy figure out what you did, and while some of them may not be too pissed off (afterall, they got a free trip out!) quite a few will be after your guts.
First claim that you did not invite all those people, blame members of your 'uber group' for inviting too many extra friends.
Second thing you can do is tell them they can exp near you, they have enough people, and as long as they don't touch your mob, and forgive you, who cares? (NOTE they also provide a handy supply of rez-bitches, for when your 'uber group mate' feck up)
Thirdly, /ignore is your friend, use it lots.
