How should one play it?

Say you were out last weekend.

Say you got REALLY wasted.

Say you can't remember the whole night.

Now, when you go out again, to same bar, meet same people and they go "Ooh you bastard you hit on my wife!" or "You were dancing naked on the table!", which of the following ways whould you play it?

"Yeah i know, funny eh? Haha, i was totally bonkers!"

"Wadn't me."

"Can't remember."(honest way...bleh)

I would probably answer "Really? I'll have to take your word for it, I can't remember a thing about that night"

honest but tending towards owning it if I have a slight memory of the event

someone's bound to have taken pics / video footage on their phone

the bar's CCTV will have been sent to the police / youtube

interpol agents will be drinking in the bar's corners (you can't spot them - they blend invisibly into the hip atmosphere (beige macs & deerstalker hats))

that happens to me all the time, people accept it now they know im an animal when pissed and try it on with absolutely everyone

I would be gutted hate getting black out drunk always takes me a couple of months to let lose again.

So my answer is i would be at home in a pit of shame.

haha this really made me chuckle, not so bad now but back between 17-24 or so i used to have to ring my mate the following morning to ask if id had a good nite

never used to bother me, now when it happens i always feel really bad until ive spoke with the missus, if shes ok with me either she has no clue or i did infact behave myself
