Truesight is gone and has been replaced with yet annother stealth detection RA. While outright removal of detection RAs is still possible, the fact that they put a new one in moves that pipe dream into the realm of highly improbable.
This new MoS system is not my creation. /golfclap or similarly vent at me all you want if it makes you happy. I am more than happy that TS as proposed is gone, but this new system is not my creation. If I had my way this wouldn't be going in either.
The documentation on the Herald is incomplete. In addition to the detect ranges, cammo immunity, and the assassin detection clause, there is one more important thing that was not mentioned.
Trains in MoS negate other peoples trains in MoS
practical example MoS 5 Ranger with 50 stealth meets a MoS 3 Inf with 50 stealth.
The Inf in this example will have no MoS detection bonus on the Ranger whatsoever. He will see the ranger at 250 units away (base 125 + Detect Hidden 125)
The Ranger in this example will only have the MoS 4 and 5 detction bonus. He will see the Inf at 450 units away (base 125 + Mos4 150 + MoS5 175)
If this looks like a no win stealth arms race to you, well join the club.
*Note atm the skill is broken on Pend and trains in MoS reduce absolute detection instead of countering MoS detection. End result is that someone with MoS 2 is effectively invisible to everyone without detect hidden or MoS since the 175 unit protection of MoS 2 more than cancels out the base 125 unit detect range.

There also seems to be a few posts that do not seem to grasp what the assassin detection clause on MoS is all about. To clarify.
For Archers and Minstrels this skill works like passive TS did. They get to see everyone with it, including assassins.
For Assassins this skill works selectively like See Hidden did. They get to see Archers and Minstrels but not other Assassins
