Feel free to make an input. :worthy:

prices are for 1000, and not cap.

If u have the price to cap from 100, post reply plz =)

Lgd. SC'er = 15p+
Lgd. WC'er = 20p
Lgd. Tailor = 5p
Lgd. Alc = 20p

Prices are not 100% correctly, but as far as I remember wrong my own craftin sessions ;)

Yeh, you're a little off on alchemy, which at the high end is madly expensive - only 900 so far, but looking at recipes coming up I reckon the price all done will be about 22p.

Also you're way off on tailoring, but depends what you want - if you just want a tailor and little metal skill then about 10p, otherwise about 12p.

Just in case you're interested - fletching 0 - cap about 17p.

(I really should get out more...)

Depends how you do it - but his numbers are right.

Tailoring costs around 2p to 1000, and around 5p to 1100. Those are the estimates you tend to see quoted in various places, and match what I spent on mine.

Adding metalworking to that doesnt significantly change the price if its done sensibly (trinketing for first few 100 points, low level WC/AC/fletch for the rest)

yup

Indeed, looking at the recipes tonight - actually more the material costs (no pun intended), that certainly seems right - think I've been doing alchemy too long and used to having to re-mortgage my whizzy hammer to make just one high end potion..........)

Dont know about anyone else, but I managed to get to 850 AC just making Studded Armour (which I assume is the way others do it) with just over 1 plat. It was the rest of it to 1156 that cost the most.

Not sure if this is a right pricing or I was just generally lucky with the gains. My WC guy gained only 4-5 points in over 200 makes at 600WC. I did report it to GOA but they said everything was normal. So I gave up on the WC'ing.

alchemy

30p for lgm Alchemy is prolly what you need if you always craft orange stuff.

I needed less than 16p to get to 1k alchemy. With Tradequests the cash needed should be even lower now.

There is a lot of crap in forums about crafting, the only safe way to get up fast and cheap is to check your gains/hour and cash/gain yourself and don't just believe what others say. Crafting green-con-stuff is sometimes an option as much as crafting red-con-stuff.

yes..

Absolutely. Weapon craft seems particularly good at yellow skill gains - for example, just went from 975 - 1017 just on shields, which are terribly cheap to make compared to anything else at that level. The shields, by the way went blue at 1005.

So? 1k alchemy is still a good 70+ points from being finished.

Slow expensive points. Youll learn ;)

1037-1094 Alch cost me about 13p and that was using the 6% skill gain crafting tool.
Tailoring to 1100 cost me 3.4p then add about another 100-200g to get get secondaries up to 1000+.

Hehehe draylor, i'm now only a few points from being capped,
I just can't tell how much cash it took after 1k, as I earned some cash on orders, i did the 1k potions till they were grey, i just can't recall how much it costed me to get from 1050 to 1075.

1050-1075 your skilling off of reactive DD procs: losing 111g per proc made (if its sold to merchant). Making an average of 6-7 per skill gain isnt unreasonable: making the cost just for those points somewhere over 15plat.

Sure some can be sold to customers but these days it wont be too many. Ive had 2 pages of reactive DD procs on housing CM for months, at or below 'cost' price. Typically I sell 1-2 procs every couple of weeks. Sooner or later Ill sell them to merchant - vaults are overflowing, CM is usually pretty much full and Im not upgrading to a mansion just to get another house vault :p

Some day Ill get the last 10-20 points on alchemist to make ablatives - but with so many alchemists and so little demand theres very little point :)

I spent ca 15-20p on my Weaponcrafter, nothing unusual. However, from 1090ish to 1100 (when mid legendary weapons turn yellow) I spent 8 plat :p Skilling on the last "normal" weapons while they were green and low green was a pain ;) Ofc could have tried to get to 1100 on leg weap orders only, but didn't get many before ding 1100 due to chance of loosing inputs. So from 0 - 1100 I spent ca 25-30p I reckon.

On 1100 you start getting a lot of orders for legendary weapons tho, which has given mb half of my expenditure so far in return (made ca 200 leg weapons so far iirc), so there is hope!
