How long have you played?

As I feel it has taken forever to level my char, I was just wondering whether other players could do a /played and tell me how long.

Mine is currently at about 20 days and I am level 41.5. I would be particularly interested in the higher level healing classes from the other realms.

i mean i have moments when im sick of xping and like rvr all day long or just craft with my hunter

And I am 5 bubs from 31..
Plus have almost 400 in weaponcrafting
And I have been on over 90% of the alliance keep raids, and done some RvRing

I simpy havent got enough time to power level like that!

I help admin rtcw leagues and co-run DN so DAOC is a late night thing at the mo =)

About 13.5 days /played. Now Level 29 and weaponcrafter with 603 skill. That took most of the time (70% at least), plus I attended some keepraiding and in general prefer roleplaying over powerleveling. Also quite a lot of time spent with lower-level guildies to help in questing. With my Alt Steven I was faster: lvl 5 in 1 hour (thanks to a good buff from some nice cleric), level 9 now and maybe a total of 6-7 hours played, but that sneaker has now turned into my extra-vault.

I'm on about 13 days with no crafting and pretty much no RvR either seeing as i only have 1500 realm points

I find all this quite interesting in view of the number of complaints I have seen about the realms being unbalanced etc. From the above it would seem to be quicker to level a char in alb than in Midgard - or am I being unfair?

As an English person I feel fairly well outnumbered in Midgard by the Scandinavians players. To see them in action is actually quite impressive. They are so committed and organised. I have talked to other English players about this and they all agree.

I know that Shamans as a class have the reputation for being at a disadvantage, so possibly it is an unfair comparison. However, I know many of the level 50's in Midgard have much more time invested in their chars than I have.

I just wanted to put a different slant on the argument about realm balancing.

I hope you misunderstood this, by "played time" we mean the time we spent actually IN DAoC, playing our character.
You can see your own time by typing "/played" in-game.

It should NOT be 3 weeks for a lvl 24

(eg. i have played the game since the release (and beta), so thats about 2 months now (or is it 3? ), but my /played is 13-14 days.)

I'm a lvl33 Merc in Albion.

Considering that the people I regularly group with are at a similar lvl and with a similar /played time, i wanna know what we are doing wrong!

I'm not quite sure how you can get to lvl 40+ in under 10 days. Seems a bit unlikely to me - its not as if i've been in bad groups and not done a lot of xping.

Was 24.8 but last night I had a terminal case of stupidity. After successfully managing to wipe out 2 hours worth of exp I decided to take the stress free route of my spear hero who I managed to get to level 9 - w00t!

Gonna take the druid on tonight I think, - when I am awake. I think I'll trade skill tho. At the moment level 24 is a bit of a cursed level for me

Well, just wanted to add that people who already have played this game and know how to exp fast in a realm can do it fast, I'm sure if I would restart and make a new char in albion I'd do it much faster, think it's relevant if people tell how many other char's they got, how much experience in exping in that realm etc..
Anyways, my first char that I've been playing since day one has about 26 days played, level 47.5 minstrel with ~88000 rp's.
