With regards to the ranger question .... Hard as hell to lvl one unless you have a bot. Ive tried all 3 realms, Hib for me is the nicest, fewer players than the other realms but we make up for it in skill
Well since i moved to Hibernia/Prydwen (from Albion/Excal) i was pleasantly surprised how friendly people are. Im still only level 35 but ive been welcomed into lvl 50 groups rampaging through the frontiers and has been the best time i've spent in DAoC. People buff you, stop for a chat and are genuinely nice.
Though i haven't found a guild yet, i feel right at home on Prydwen. I like the more relaxed atmosphere (bit TOO relaxed in Caledonia, its that relaxed no one goes there ).
Im not saying Prydwen is perfect, people still have disagreements but they are few and far between. I still see DF as the worst part as i did on Excalibur, it seems at the centre of most arguments (greed etc).
Enough rambling im off to see if anyone turned up in Caledonia
