tonight at Blend i fought a hibbie called sweeft who managed to be to far away for me to stick even though our chars were colliding. also i couldnt hit him but he could just run around and nuke me to death. it wasnt before i tried to run away and he ran up and hit me in the back that I also could touch him. did 2 hits and then he was too far away to stick. Yes i did both sprint and use speed shout.
This puzzled me so I am asking if this is possible in any way ( then im changeing realm ) or if it sounds like some kind of cheat people have encountered before.

as far as I understood it it's a "cheat" that came along with mythics sloppy programming...

sweeft is a bard afaik and they have endsong, thus u cant sprint aslong as they can unless you are a pally or a shammy? And it was very laggy around there tbh aswell, I would guess that has something to do with the odd incidents.

you cant cast while doing the 'cheat' part of it (with that i mean intentionally doing it) but when you have a laggy connection its NOT a cheating its just a lagbug...

Had an inf beat the crap out of me a while back while I was getting the to far away message during the entire "fight" Must be some kind a bug and not lag related cause he just stuck to me when I tried to run.

keep seein healers do it i /stick and start hitin em then only to see them disapear and apear behind me and heal them selfs b 4 i can get back to em strange it always seems to happen just before they die .. must just be them lagin but its strange how ofteren this happen with healers ...

Had the same problem this morning trying to PA a mincer.

I could see him a fair distance away with See Hidden and 4 times in a row when I got to him and performed the PA he was 'too far away to attack' even though he was stationary. strange.....

if you see someone running by as a 'ghost' it's someone who crashed or who has a frozen screen of fps lag (zerg or whatever)

someone who's skating by and casting is the result of hitting /face + a spell very fast or a laggy connection

LMAO, it's not a cheat, bards get end regen to sprint away and also get an insta-shout, i.e. no cast time.
