A very important year, lots of hard work required, but a huge step in terms of sorting my career out

In terms of economics: shite. This recession could last many years before things start to turn around. So: expect more job cuts, businesses going belly-up, unemployment, increase in crime & antisocial behaviour, the odd Government minister making a tit of himself, more stabbings & shootings. Bung in the odd natural disaster, a sprinkling of chaos between the US & Iran, speculation about the latest nutter in charge of North Korea. In short, a repeat of 2011 but ppl feeling even more miserable than they do at the moment due to the depression. Oh, I almost forgot: the Olympics & the Queen's Diamond Jubilee (possibly the only thing worth looking forward to). Bah Humbug.

The olympics will be shit. England will be knocked out of the Euros early with typically useless performances all round.

Iran will start throwing more toys out of the pram. North Korea will start to behave themselves. Revolution in Syria. Complete collapse of the Euro. British economy to fair better than the rest of Europe but by this time next year, it will be in a (more) shit state.

Personally, if I still have a job at the end of next year (which I reckon I will!) it will be a good year.
