this is on one of the barrysworld bookable servers. so i have the rcon password. when i join the game, do i type that in to join as rcon? and what is the server port stuff? is that the ip or somethin? sorry, i really dont kno anything about this stuff

I dont know how. I ping US servers at around 200-250 and im on cable. Its playable but not enjoyable. Plus you guys play differently from us.

I have played on a few Utah servers with a T3 connection, it was like playing as a 56ker. (cs this is) I have played on a few of them, as you'd expect they have different server settings. They must have because nobody could kill me.... it was like i had some kind of god mode on!! Example: Had 3 lpb shooting point blank at me.... still took em all out. Even i was shocked.

Yeah i think they do play differently, a lot less serious. Very friendly! Didn't see many clan players. But then again, Barrysworld servers noramlly are of very high standards, and there must be thousands of servers over there... maybe i picked a newbie one

Yeh great in it. I think they should do a UK vs US match. Maybe on a server which is in between each contry so pings arnt advantage. Suppose 56kers whill have to be left out of this kind of game.

Why oh why would 56kers need to be left out. Is it because our ping speeds would be immense and therefore leave us as "cannon fodder" for the relatvely LPB >

What i mean is if LPBs ping at 200 56kers will ping at 400. You ever tryed playing at this when your used to 200?

I think the highest ping i have play at was just over 1000..... i only managed one kill. Of couse i had to give up in the end.... my screen was running about 4 rounds behind.

I have got 30+ frags with 500 ping before. That was a laugh. Talk about a stable network

The first few rounds i could move fine.... firs time i died it took me a few rounds to catch up with the server. My screen was still showing where i had originally died but the rounds were carrying on and i was actually getting killed at my spawn.

Escape and resumed, got everything back to normal for a bit but as soon as i died (which was very quickly) the same thing happened again. I was determined to get one kill, which i did.... long range.

Thought it was best to give up after that

hmm, wow, big topic. anyways, dont know what it would be like to play from UK. and there are some good USA teams.... really good ones... but i dunt kno very many UK teams, so no basis of comparison. so yea. thats all.
