How do I specc a NS, Klazart .... anyone

A simple question, how do I specc my NS? I want to use blades instead of those tiny piercing things or is that to gimp myself perhaps.

Thankfull for any suggestions.

Spudgie personally i would try to not worry too much about special speccing for the bg, or you will gimp your damage as for people asking for speccing advice, i'd have to point you to luckies guide also

Here's how to specc a nightshade:

at lvl 5 go and visit the ranger trainer in TNN and say "hey! i want to be a ranger!"

once done you be "!!!THANKFULL!!!" that you recieved this advice when the 1.50 patch comes along and unleashes the hounds of Nerf onto any nightshade that they can find

or.... i suppose you could just use luckie's guide

Be sure to put /sarcasm on/off, coz with 1.50 SEE HIDDEN, all archer community just respec their stealth no higher than 30, some of em just 15

IMO, with correct RA, a NS can be useful (WA 2 and VIPER), hell they r ultimate to have in group to defend against other rogues, insta > PA

That will only nerf 1 shot SBs hehe, I believe that nor do infil and NS r used to 1 shot anything but sitting down blues or greens.

F.i. Mallus told me (via alb/GORRE) that he´s used to pick loners, that´s +- wot a minstrel does but with less than 5-10 sec death, and rdy 4 action again, if u use lifebane x 2 vs loners, that will reduce to PA and bye bye

I have an ns alt and speccing it the same way, maybe with a bit lower piercing (14-16) and higher envenom.

Spudgie, looks fine to me, maybe ease off on the stealth when its at 20 and go back to speccing pierce\cs a bit more

BTW aeie, did you read that a bug with evade 6/7 was fixed in the patch, might be why you didn't evade me.

After 24 i was thinking of boosting pierce to 21 + bringing envemon up to the next higher DoT poison. Plus my eld has a few +stealth and envenom items hidden away

Diamond back, hamstring, diamond back, entire hamstring chain.

If so then it rulez

Btw if I use some 3.2 spd prp weapon my future PA will have a quite ok damage?

takahome, yes to both questions, BUT

it is possible to do what you said with diamondback, however at higher levels you will be using CD, which has a stun, so you will end up doing Diamondback -> Hamstring chain, due to the diamondback having half length if you failed the cd for whatever reason though you can do Diamondback -> Hamstring -> Diamondback -> Hamstring chain

As for weapons, the PA damage is Weapon damage plus a fixed bonus. I am trying to work out the exact forumla for determining the pa cap atm, but basically the higher specced in CS you are, the higher your cap is (+9 per spec point), and the higher your base damage is the higehr the pa. slower weapons have higher base time, however have a longer swing time so its a trade off for speed vs initial damage. some go for damage, i go for speed

Nice to know... only a question... I can´t stun with hamstring, with my guarded rapier I´m afraid I can only hit once be4 being hit though =/

I open up with my rapier hit with creeping death and then switch weaps to my claw while mob is stunned, only takes one sec if u are ready

Atm 18 with cobalt guardied rapier and then just higher material dirk.. and then with carbide (?) guardied rapier and sapphire dirk all crafted with ok qual. Just asking wot will be my change weapon to hit faster or wot ever it suits ^_^

Btw they r prp, they wear down quick but damn I kill greens in almost 2 hits And w/o PA only BS II chain.

Takahome, go for speed i have a guarded but only use for rvr, the styles take a lot more end, so i prefer to hit fast also its easier to style off evades
