How do I get my FPS up in JK2?

Can any 1 tell me the command to get my FPS up in Jedi night 2?

The first thing you can try is setting all detail levels to the lowest possible. Remember to turn of Dynamic Lighting and Wall Marks. V-Syn when turned off also helps performance but can cause screen tearing.

Another point, if you have a Graphics Card with its own GPU (G Force Series spring to mind). You can set your res to 800x600 this way the GPU will handle the graphics processing releaving some load from the Processor. Any lower res is handled by the CPU.

Also try
r_fastsky "1" - Turns the sky black without a texture, can help a little.
cg_simpleitems "1" - This gets rid of all the spinning 3D models of Weapons and Powerups etc. Turns all items to Icons.
