how do i get in to a server {q3} with a password??

I tried to get on to a server that we booked last night, but I could not get in I tried typing the password in the console but with no luck,

Please help !!!!!!

If you start Q3 from GameSpy or somesuch, you can set the pw for the server in its properties.

If you connect direct and get 'invalid passowrd' then dropping the console and typing '/password thepass' will get you in. If this did not work for you its most likely you had the wrong pw.

There's a bug in the CCTF code (I don't believe it's in any other mod's code .. CCTF is the only place I've seen it) whereby after failing the password check you get droppped back to a "This server is for Low Pings only" message.

Typing /reconnect at the console will sort things.

I've not see any PW problems with any other mods.
