Been wondering about a little thing these past days/weeks.. after being in malmo trying to get those hard bits of XP I've noticed that everyone goes to malmo instead of Raumarik..

is there any reason for this (malmo >> raumarik) or just plain old habits? only seen one entire rauma group and that was a loong time ago.. and if there are no reason I would recomend people to get their lazy asses of that list-waiting and come along to rauma :D

The reason is because it simple is easier in Malmo. I never really exped in Rauma, but been itemhunting there a lot lately. The cons of the mobs at lvl 50 varies from yellow to purp, at lair everything is red-purp. And, best place to lvl in Rauma I would say is the fenrirs close to the cyclops, but they are all whiped sort of fast I think.

Malmo = fastest xp atm
Raumarik = Most of the best drops, malmo has a few though.

Well i think its kinda habit NOW - prepatch the spawn times and drops where bugged - that is fixed now -
means - u can get very good xp at rauma + uberdrops
fx at cyclop camp - very fast spawn now and best xp per kill,
another reason is that every n00b can xp at lair - u need no skill or knowledge to get your lvl 50 there

hmm.. think I will be starting a lot of Raumagroups since the XP and the drops seems to be really good as you put it..
but the only little problem is, where to hunt and where to get the drops? :) atm I'm so sick of malmo that I cant even think of going there to XP so I got the feeling that Raumarik is my best bet for XP and drops.. :)

Hope there are others that are as sick of malmo as I am and perhaps work out a system for occasional hunts in rauma..

The lair is a bastard to get too so I wouldn't say it's for newbies as such, also if your healer isnt A grade then your going to spend alot of time face down.

Your right though, there should be more than once choice for levelling to 50, and rauma is a lot of fun (As long as you watch where you pull from).

No so good for me now though, WoW's are agro to me I think :p

thanks for the feedback, and do anyone know where to find level of the mobs and attributes of them? (BaF, faction etc etc)..

Lair aint that hard to get, but I tend to die 1/2 times without a skald to taxi me into it, timing of the patrols is the key here ;)

BTW: Kithara, what happened to damage inc? (haven't seen you guys/gals around lately.. )

Well hehe i dunno about them fixing rauma drop rate :)

Been camping the windchilled and the rest of them bony nags for days and not getting ONE drops with my lvl 47-40 guild team in raumarik.

Trying to get the WIndchilled leggins to drop. or the axe.
But we go a orb or 2 if we were lucky.

Havent tried the Fenrirs for a while but, pre patch we never got drops from them neither. Got a hide once i think that sold for 5gold.

Perhaps the fenrirs are fixed, but the droprate at the windchilled is NOT fixed, i think it is WORSE now then b4 path.
Atleast then we could get 2 armourdrops in 2 hours now we didnt get one.

Didnt think much about exp, but i didnt notice much change.

You must've been quite unlucky with the drops then ;) Think we got three or four pair of those leggins (only did those two times so we might've been lucky I guess)

I’m no expert at this, but after a day in Malmo a week ago I got 1.5 lvl. I have also taken many trips to Raumarik after lvl 40, but the xp hasn’t been near Malmo. You my get more xp pr. mob, but the rate you are pulling in Malmo is much higher. This may be different for a lvl 45+ grp in Raumarik (I don’t know), but for lvl me lvl 42-44 nothing beats Malmo.

Anyway it is better to organize a Raumarik trip than waiting for your turn in Malmo. I capped at 27.5mill on Fenrir, even played as the main tank (evade just rocks), but the pull rate was much lower and the grp was also a bit too low lvl (guild hunt), with only 2 lvl 44 and the rest from 37 – 41.

At least it should be fixed in 1.48 ...
well the weird thing was - we did like 2-3 itemhunts at the first and second day after the patch and we almost got every uber drop from raumarik - therefore i got my frozen ws axe, frozen cyclops eye and the belt of glacial might, we even got the Frozen Tundra Walker's Mantle -
ofc we tried to repeat that every night so that every1 coud be satisfied but that didnt work - for some reason the drops rates decreased for about 200% percent on the 3rd day :/ whole nite rauma camping = only 1-2 drops ...
i found not reason for that so far ./ prolly we overcamped all spawns and it needs time to "reload"
Havent been there for some time now tho

Count me in if your going to exp at Rauma.

Shaki is lvl 39 now.. it will increase soon thought.... got summerjob now so can only play after 4 PM CET.
