How can I load a CTF map & Play CTF offline?

When I load any CTF level from the console it starts in in DM mode. Is there a way to load a CTF map and play CTF? I start a ctf game by typing in console /map q3ctf1 & then add a couple of bots but it's all a DM game from there.
I usually have 300+ ping rate on any online game due to my older modem. It seems to get the full glory of a CTF game I need to play offline. How do I start this? Thanks

Think this is right (goin by memory)
but if you go to the multiplayer options and chose to start your own server...just change the options to ctf and chose your map...fire it up and add the bots...near sure thats how i did it as I aint played it in a while
