I'm still going through the lengthy process of adding my CD collection, and I don't really have anything I don't like on my computer. I like to keep it trimmed of shite. Generally.

49.2 GB (52,852,494,336 bytes)

about 15k.

~13k.

A lot less tunes for my size due to the enormous amounts of mix sets I have.

151,8GB, 22455 tracks.

It's my duty as a swede with 10mbit. A clean out is due though, but im always reluctant to do so since alot of the albums are growers just waiting for the right kind of mood or proper amount of attention (or atleast that's what I tell myself).

well, at home i have about 35gb at the moment, probably about 500 albums worth or something (haven't checked the total in a while)

At work i have over 250,000 tracks in uncompressed cbr format, about 16,000 of which is fully burnable abums...

If i can be bothered working here for much longer by the end of the year i should have access to over 60,000 albums and well over 1,000,000 tracks

Current storage on that is about 15tb for various formats of music ;)

Oh yeah, my music collection pwns you all ;)

at WORK? what the hell do you do? Work for virgin?
I work for a company who has developed a solution for burning full and mix albums of lossless quality in shops. We also have the technology to allow people to purchase directly to an mp3 player, but we sill need to convert the vast majority of our content to mp3.

aha. So it's not really *your* collection per se, but you can steal bits of it whenever you like?

well, i have burned off well over 200 cd's since i've been working there, just waiting to get the 16k albums over from the states so i can do some more as we only have 10k over here right now, just that the logistics of shifting 2.6tb of data sometimes makes my head wobble!

No matter what your bandwith is, my 4x 1.6tb firewire drives fedexed beats you ;) works out at roughly 39,768kb/s
shame about the symetry of the connection :)
