How about a 50 player RA3 Megagame??

Saw Essobie on the RA3 webbie wrote of the Gib-o-rama LAN event he recently attended where they played a 50 player RA3 clan arena game using the Overkill map by Wiebo de Wit. Demos there and everything.

How about it? The BW megagames were initially quite well attended. Not sure if you could do 50 player over the net but it might me a larf . Anyone else interested?

Would Barrysworld be interested in hosting such an event?

Yeah i cant agree more!!! Overkill is a great map and ive seen the official demos and it looks like its not too packed considering. Should be fun and the only option for a decent megagame using q3 imho.

BTW stick overkill in the cycle instead of that wanky one by avatar - the hand one - OMFG that is the worst map in the world!!

Its a pity people are always ragging on at that map, its one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, and an awful lot of work must have gone into it, but the gameplay is sadly lacking.

Anyway Ted, there doesnt seem to have been much interest in such a 50 player game so.........

Pity.

I'm hoping to get something more permanent sorted with regards to the mega games, currently its a case of i just do not have the time to sort any quake1/2/3 or UT ones out :/
