I understand from the manual that only 1 house per account is possible on each server.

from the FAQ :
"...Q: How many homes can I own?
A: You can own one house per account, per server. ..."


The manual also says :

"...Changing a house into a guildhouse is very easy. ..."
and
"...Once you do this, you give up all ownership to the house and it becomes the property of the guild and more specifically the guild leader..."

Does this mean that a 'guild leader' in this case looses the right to own a personal house on that server?

What if there is more than 1 guildmaster? To who does the house go?

a guild can own a house - it then doesn't belong to any one player, so you can buy one for yourself and one for your guild.
